Chris Vollmer is a project engineer for Criterium-Hardy Engineers, a real estate and building inspection consulting engineering firm in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Vollmer is responsible for overall structural inspections, report writing, and cost estimating. Mr. Vollmer is also responsible for assisting in the inspection, and financial analysis of HOA reserve studies. In addition to working with state and local government officials, Mr. Vollmer has a strong background as an engineer in transportation facilities such as roadways, bridges, sidewalks, shared-use paths, and parking lots. He works with state and local government officials pertaining to inspection of such facilities in order to determine the need, inspection, repair, maintenance, and life cycle costs of transportation infrastructure.

Qualifications
Mr. Vollmer has over 20 years in design engineering roles before joining Criterium-Hardy Engineers in 2023 in his current role. Prior to joining Criterium-Hardy Engineers, Mr. Vollmer was a project engineer for a few engineering firms specializing in the transportation design industry, having provided engineering design services for many government entities including the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, the Illinois Department of Transportation, the Kentucky Transportation Committee, and many local city and county governments. In that role, he provided design engineering services, construction inspection and layout, bridge inspections and documentation, and project management.
